The car has done only 500 miles in the past 5 years!!! The engine runs sweet. It has been well looked after and maintained. I restored it and drive it on the weekends every now and then and now I'm selling because I've now got a bigger family, so I can't justify keeping it any longer... The car has been well looked after, and recently had its engine rebuilt. I've spent quite a lot of money to get it back on the road, having been SORN for the past 5 years. Comes with two keys. For those unable to make the long journey to come and view the car, here's a Youtube video for your convenience - http://youtu.be/s-j1fVoE9kE The following extensive works have been done over the past few months to restore it to its former glory using NEW original parts: May 18: All FOUR original wheels were refurbished as you can see in the picture. June 18: A MAJOR SERVICE - oil change, oil filter change, air filter change, spark plugs change and break fluids too. June 18: Passed its MOT with NO advisories June 18: I changed it's left coil spring, and have a spare one for you. June 18: I had the underneath oil waxed. August 18: Fuel filter changed August 18: Starter motor changed October 18: Battery changed October 18: Ignition Amplifier changed October 18: Radiator changed October 18: Fan motor changed October 18: Timing belt changed October 18: Fan belt changed October 18: Webber Carb tuned - it idles perfectly I'll also be adding an extra front grill. I have spent in excess of £2500 to restore the car to its current stage. Thus, it drives and sounds like a dream. It pulls like a bullet. It runs on the ever reliable webber carb, so super responsive too. The wheel spins are just incredible. Areas needing attention, but not urgent: The bodywork is in great condition for it's age, but will need some TLC to maintain it.The roof seals are okay, but could also benefit from some attention. The left front wheel was changed by an amateur and wasn't put back on properly, so (believe it or not) it came off after a 10 mins drive. Took it to the mechanic to be fixed and all good now, but I lost 2 bolts. The mechanic used one from another wheel, so now it's in great working order. For extra security, I've purchased a pack of 16 for £10 on eBay and will provide them with the sale.Someone in my neighbourhood decided to do me a favour by breaking the right rear light. I'm so grateful to them... I have identified where you can get a replacement rear light from. You have the option of starting it using the choke pull to warm it up before pulling off, but it also starts perfectly without the choke. It is as original a car as you'll find. No modifications whatsoever has been made, and it gets the attention it deserves, especially in traffic and everywhere I go. Those who know it, appreciate it. Cars like these are no longer made. They rarely break down, and even if they do, it's very easy to identify faults and fix them, compared to modern cars, which have their own benefits too... It's a splendid car that will take good care of you. I have loads of paper works for the car dating as far back as the early 90s. Happy to answer your questions and arrange a viewing. I advise that you come and view that car, but appreciate distance can be a problem for some, so happy to arrange a video WhatsApp call. I'm open to considering part exchange and offers...
